Reliance launches its first multilingual all-in-one entertainment App 'Chillx'


Anil D. Ambani led Reliance Entertainment announced a new venture in a Digital Media Content and Distribution company, called ‘FunOnGo Media & Entertainment LLP’. FunOnGo is founded by Vijay Singh and Ujjwal Narayan

Today, the company launched, its first offering in the entertainment space, an Android APP, called ‘Chillx’.

Chillx is a complete entertainment based platform aimed at placing the power of choice in the hands of consumers. The App will give consumers choice in languages, entertainment formats, genres as well as payment mechanisms.

Sweta Agnihotri, CEO – Content Syndication, Reliance Entertainment- spoke about Chillx; "While Apps downloaded are mostly in line with global popularity, interest in content consumption in regional language is high. The app is a digital entertainment departmental store that curates a mix of games, music, viral videos & clips, entertainment news, short films & full length movies.

Content on Chillx is available across major Indian regional languages like Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Punjabi, Marathi, Gujarati etc.

Chillx contains an exhaustive games section, with several premium games available on a try and buy basis. The portal also lists and recommends apps for Indian users depending upon their usage habits.

Tally releases a mobile application to assist users adopt GST with ease

The Tally for GST Mobile Application is the latest initiative by Tally Solutions, the most popular accounting and compliance software product company to raise awareness on the technological preparedness of businesses for GST adoption and its impact

14 November, 2016 - Tally announced the launch of its GST mobile application to ensure easy adoption of the Technology led law. The app will be a rich source of information on Goods and Services Tax (GST) for businesses and will help them with understanding GST and its nuances. Make sure you are happy with permissions the GST App requires. Below is the list.  I am not sure why a information based app needs my device's accounts and contacts details. Because of demonetization and more usage of Wallets and other payment system through mobile, I am now a days very careful about what app I am installing and what all permission it needs. if I feel the purpose of app and permissions are not matching, I refrain to install it.

Huawei Achieves Major Breakthrough in Graphene-Assisted High Temperature Li-ion Batteries

Huawei announced a major breakthrough in its research into Li-ion batteries, unveiling the world's first long-lifespan graphene-assisted Li-ion battery able to withstand high temperatures.  Huawei's research results show that new graphene-based heat-resistant technologies allow Li-ion batteries to remain functional in a 60°C environment, a temperature 10°C higher than the existing upper limit. The lifespan of the graphene-assisted Li-ion batteries will also be twice as long as ordinary Li-ion batteries.
